Happy Turkey Day

Every year I get the opportunity to be thankful for who you know not what you know. My friend is the caretaker for Lake Mcdonald lodge. We eat drink and be way too merry. It is by far one of the most beautiful spots to be at on a morning of any holiday. We almost didn't do it this year due to all of us being buh hum bug. I am so glad we did.
There were 4 bald eagles flying around and lots of love. I am thankful for all of the memories there on that beach. We then went to our friends Melissa and Greg to have a second thanksgiving. It always amazes me that I have so much family out here without really being family. This canyon has really come together in the last couple of years.
Thank you all!

A walk in the Park...

Scott has had some time off lately in-between seasons. We have been walking, hiking, and celebrating all around. My favorite hike is the bike path to Fish Creek in Glacier National Park.
This walk in the park has the most spectacular views, whether by foot, bike or skiing. The sweet new frost and snow high on the mountain tops still takes my breath away every time.

First Timer

So Scott had never before carved pumpkins. I could not believe it. Poor Scott had no idea how much I love Holidays and what he was getting himself into. We watched a movie and carved. The sad part was the fact that his was way better than mine. I accidentally made removable dentures for mine. Ohh well happy first time Scott!

Yippy for more sunshine!

Our Indian summer is here. With more time on our hands we have been able to get a lot of hikes in. Plus now is the time when all of our friends move on for the winter to Tahoe, Utah, etc. We have been playing at night with them all. Bond fires, adventures, etc. We will miss you until next season. I personally am back to long walks on the beach with Siyeh & hoping for when Scott's job is done to hang out even more. I love fall.

Summer, is it gone?

Sorry everyone I have been slacking on the blog pages. Life has been crazy. I tore my ligaments attaching my kankle, which is what it looks like. So I am forced to slow down. Cafe will be closing on September 14th. yippy We had our employee party last night. With lots of good people, games, and of course good ole tin foil dinners. I can't believe it is time for fall already. The weather is most definitely colder. I am ready for a little more free time yet always sad when it is over.

My friend Stacy's Wedding

Our Friends Stacey & Seth just made the big pledge for time & all eternity. Scott helped with the food, Teresa baked, & I did the hair & makeup. It was a beautiful wedding. We of course had a fabulous time at the bachelorette party. The wedding we danced like no one was watching. I wish the two of them the best & congrats. I hope you all get to enjoy a Montana wedding sometime because they are a blast. Much love to you both.

P.S. Congrats also to not only my best friend growing up but my neighbor. Jamie Ellis. I WISH I was there. Much love...

Ohh how time is flying by...

I keep meaning to show some new pictures of my menu for the cafe. Opening day pics etc. Life just simply needs to slow down. I do suppose the summer has arrived. The cafe is busier this year than ever. The first week we doubled our order. The second week we doubled our order from that. Now this week we are doubling last weeks order. It is so amazing to see how all of our hard work for 3 years is going to finally pay off. Yippy! I 'm so thankful to all of our families who stood by us & never called us crazy for selling organic breakfast burritos. This year we have the pleasure of having Melinda , T's sis out here to help. I can't tell you how great she is to have around. Of course anyone from the Lee family is a delight. I will post some new pic's this week hopefully but for now here is a picture of the great article that was posted in the paper.

San Francisco

Last week I got the chance to go to one of my best friends wedding in Sacramento. We had a lot of fun. She was more beautiful than the magazines. I loved hanging out with my second family. Thank you for all you do. Then I drove to San Francisco. The greatest thing about SF is my favorite coffee shop. The cup is like the size of your face. Yippy Espresso! I also got to hang out with my best bud Lance. The city is still the same yet with just new people & faces. We went to all of my favorite places. I love & miss the city. What a great adventure that was. Yet, I could never give up where I live now.
