Flowers, flowers, flowers....

I officially started planting flowers due to me believing I can plant all the flowers for my wedding. Hee hee we will see. Don't worry I have some honey hole wild flower spots in case I fail. I'm loving the sunshine and time to work on my house. The family will be here shortly and I must pretend I am some what civilized. Scott and I have been playing with our bikes as well. Spring has been great so far. I hope I can keep this motivation come summer when we are both crazy working doubles. Count down is on for the wedding and I am getting more and more excited to see all of the fam. Can't wait.

Ohh How Short life is...

Unfortunately we have all lost a good friend to the sharks of Lake McDonald. Mr. Sloan you will be missed but not forgotten. For I am sure you will be the infamous fisherman's joke. Peace to you!

There are things that we don't want to happen, that we have to accept. Things we don't want to know, but have to learn. & people we can't live without that we have to let go....

Red Rock Relay....

Sooo. My sisters talked me into running the red rock relay.

The whole time training I would call our infamous leader and complain. In the end, it was beautiful. Thank you Tina, April, Cami, Cristy, and all of my new friends for letting me swear, be myself, and learn to love you all even more. I was sad aunt Michelle & Heidi were in the other van, but Ohh how you rock. They don't lie with the sun to snow quote. What beauty, What Stress, What love... Thank you all for one of my favorite stresses of my life.

Vacation...

Yeah I'm In SF
I use to live above the Rogue in my first Studio Apt.

This was my second house... yippy..

Scott and I just went on the most amazing vacation ever. It has been awhile since we have been able to spoil ourselves. Our friends Shane and Sara are living in Truckee, Ca so we stayed there. We snowboarded 3 days in a row. First day at Homewood, Second at Northstar, and third day at Alpine (thanks to all friends helping out on tickets) We then went to Crystal Bay Casino in Nevada to listen to Medeski, Martin, and Wood. Which was awesome. Woke up the next morning and got to go to my fav city, San Francisco. My best friend Lance met up with us and I got to show Scott where I lived etc in the city. Had some fabulous Rogue, good food, and proceeded to our destination at the Fillmore. (MOE) My favorite thing about cities is the character of all the buildings, who played there or hung out etc. I love it. I just walked around the Fillmore staring at all the great artist's posters. Spent the morning watching the sun rise at coit tower, laughed at the sea lions, and of course ate at Mama's cafe. On our way back I got to see my best friend Laura and her family, whom I love dearly. So your thinking wow 2 concerts, three amazing 16 ft inch ski days whats next? Well as I am driving toward Montana, Teresa calls and tells me they have rented a house in Lava Hot Springs and to stop. Yeah to hang out with T, Sadey, Brett, and of Course Ady and Piper. Drove home the next day, went to work and for some odd reason could not stop smiling. I love vacation. It simply makes everything you use to obsess over become sooooooo trivial. Thank you everyone that helped make this vaca awesome, amazing, and well he** simply FUN.

Ohh Happy Devils day...hee hee

Don't Ask Why I am making this face...

Yes, my friend is a mankey...

Halloween out here in Whitefish Montana is just as exciting with 1/2 of the people. Yet, everybody dresses up. My friend Michelle and I decided to be Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble. I tried and tried to talk Scott into being Barney but to no avail. There are literally lines to enter some parties around the block. Places packed as full as fireman will let them be. Its crazy. Although I do miss my families usual halloween party. Here are a couple pictures from work. Happy Halloween Everyone!

Wow what slackers we have been...

not...really. What have we been up to lately. Bought a house, opened my cafe, had visitors, had more visitors, hiking, rafting, more working, hiking, rafting, and more visitors, closed my cafe, became new accountant at Wasabi Sushi Bar, saw a moose too close for comfort, got wood to stay warm this winter and most important we forgot to download our pictures before a lovely person stole are camera. Moral of the story, fun times $$$$, more fun times $$$$, backing up your camera......Priceless.

Forever Grateful

This last weekend we drove to the gorge in Washington to see The Dead, the Allman Brothers and the Doobie Brothers. We went with our best friends Toni & Scott and their two little ones. We all had a blast.

We laughed and played,

Set up camp with 20,000 other folks,

Got really excited to hear all the great music,

Played with bubbles and danced,

Rocked out, and had a real good time!

So in the end there was nothing left to do but SMILE SMILE SMILE!

What have we been up to?

O.K O.K we admit we have not been blogging. All is well here in beautiful Montana while we anxiously await spring and summer to arrive. Fact: while living in Montana you have 8 months of winter and 4 months of visitors. We are most definitely missing the visitors.

Teresa threw a beach party which really helped out. We had wigs, a really hot room, swimming pool and of course tasty frozen drinks. Everyone had a great time until we went outside to remember,
ITS STILL COLD OUT HERE!

Mondays have become our go big Mondays. Last week we cross country skied 9 miles to a place called Emery bay. The lake is still frozen but held beautiful sights to see. This week we took on a snowshoeing adventure up to a lookout by Stanton. It was horrible, the sight hurt my eyes. I am still recovering from the horrible things I had to look at. I hate this place. I could bore you with more grotesque images but I'll just let you see for yourself.

Winter Wonderland!

Ohh the Snow!?!

So here it is, all mighty Mother Nature coming in at full force showing us just exactly what she is made of........whoa, nelly!?! With that being said our days seemed to be made up of alot of things these day, can anyone say "Where's the shovel?" "I think it is out there somewhere in the snow, do you see it yet?" But with all the hard work also comes the fun part. It's SLEDNECK time..... So last week after all the powder set in with the warmer weather, we all joined forces and made a grueling trek up the North Fork to break out the first go around with the sleds. After 2 hours and 35 miles later we arrived as what is known as the Wurtz Cabin. Undoing the white knuckles from my steering wheel, we checked out our stay for the night. Wow, what a place. This cabin had it all. It slept 14 and had a kitchen in it to cook for at least 50. So needless to say some good ole Elk burgers made it into our belly that evening and it sure was TASTY! But after a long day of driving on sheet ice we busted out the sleds for a little go around in the front yard of the cabin before lighting off some sparklers and heading to bed. Getting in around dark revealed none of the splendor that we woke up to the following morning. Magnificent views of the park and its peaks poked thru the clouds and once again Mother Nature came out to put on a show. Wow, thanks! So after a little breakfast we decided to rally up and get the sleds some action. Being my first time on a sled proved to be challenging but none the less one more outdoor sport now is being added to my list. Thanks, John! But all in all we had a great two days off together and life has been great.
